Today, I will continue doing so by focusing on the Neukölln district.

If you are planning to visit Berlin Neukölln here, it’s another nice area – like Kreuzberg – in which to begin discovering the city.

Neukölln is one of the most well-known hippest neighbourhoods of the city and has seen a complete transformation in recent years, which attracted more and more artists and immigrants from all over the world.

Locals have changed considerably, and all of this has led to the creation of trendy cafès, bars, independent galleries and vintage stores.

The music scene here is very present, with many different venues that differ in their environment, audience, and type of music.

03:45 VILLA NEUKÖLLN

An old-fashioned cafè music bar with a funky décor. The audience is very international and attracts a hipster crowd with a mix of ages.

In the showroom – an enormous ballroom – you can enjoy different music events during the week: jazz concerts, listening sessions, DJ-set & live concerts.

05:57 PRACHTWERK

A live music bar that combines art, music and restaurant. Inside, you find a creative ambient with a tiny gallery in the basement and a beautiful stage room. You can enjoy live concerts, open mic, jam sessions, and jazzy vibes with international bands worldwide.

08:15 DONAU 115

One of the best intimate Jazz Bars in Berlin. The bar offers evening events every week and often features acoustic performances during daytime café—the music program features the most exciting jazz musicians, performance artists, DJs, and multimedia experimenters.

10:17 GRIESSMUEHLE

One of the most suggestive clubs in Berlin. A smaller space in the basement and a half-outdoor spot where the club hosts after-hours and special parties.

A hipster chic Wine Bar: a cosy place where you can find an exciting selection of natural wines. Live DJs set and performances with local musicians playing jazz, house and techno music during the weekends.
