In this episode, I take you to discover the Berlin Club Scene with an expert on the subject: Lutz Leichsenring.
Lutz is a point of reference when it comes to the Berlin Underground Club Scene: since 2009 has been the spokesman and executive board member for Berlin Club Commission – an association that creates the conditions to preserve and develop Berlin’s Club Culture – and his figure is considered one of the world-leading authorities on protecting night-time economy.
Moreover, he knows the scene personally from an early age: before 2009, he built one of the largest platforms for music event listings in Germany, and he went on to run a nightclub and restaurant in town.
I just started from his beginning in the music scene in my conversation with him, his role in Berlin Club Commission. The situation of the Berlin Club Scene compared to years ago, its future, and his thought about Griessmuehle’s closure.
