Today we’ll talk about a great example of a community of open people who achieved great goals.
RBL Berlin is a non-commercial web radioactive in Berlin since 2016.
The aim is to promote a way to “make” the radio through the involvement of its people: listeners, artists, selectors, and radio makers.
This ambitious project of building a web radio in Berlin was born in 2016 in a room with three friends recording its first program. It has evolved into an open community with more than one hundred members and thousands of fans in time.
2019 has been an important year for RBL because the first goal of 8.000 euros has been reached: with that, RBL could realize the project to give access to professional equipment to artists and selectors who might not be able to afford it.
In my today’s interview, I talked about all of this and many other things with two of the RBL’s founders: Giacomo, Marco and Giulia (one of the first members of the community)
