In this episode, I will be talking about Berlin’s Disco Scene with Zaren from Disco Spektrum.
Suppose you’re in Berlin and want to discover unexpected things. In that case, you need to be a little adventurous and curious: this is because as well as the techno scene, many different venues host evenings with attractive formats and a community of people and music lovers.
That’s the case of Disco Spektrum, an excellent project for those who love and want to enjoy Disco Music in Berlin in all its variations: the aim is to bring people together doing open decks, parties, and public listening sessions, and meetups.
During the events, selectors, diggers, and DJs can share their music and favourite tunes with the audience and share ideas, tips, and suggestions.
Then I decided to meet Zaren, one of the founders, resident DJ and event manager of Disco Spektrum, to understand what’s behind this community. So we met some months ago at the Michelberger hotel here in Berlin, and we talked about exciting aspects from how it was born the community to how Berlin’s Disco Party Scene is growing in town.
