In this episode I’m talking about Berlin’s Disco Scene from a point of view of the community Disco Spektrum.
If you’re in Berlin and if you want to discover unexpected things you need to be a little adventurous and very curios in my opinion: this because as well as techno scene there are lots of different venues who host evenings with interesting format and community of people and music lovers.
This is the case of Disco Spektrum a really nice project for those who loves and wants enjoy Disco Music in Berlin in all its variations: the aim is bring people together doing open decks, parties, public listening sessions and meet ups.
During the events selectors, diggers and djs have not only the opportunity to share their music and favorites tunes, with the audience, but also share ideas, tips and suggestions.
Then I decided to meet Zaren one of the founders, resident dj and event manager of Disco Spektrum to understand more what’s behind this community. So we met some months ago at Michelberger hotel here in Berlin and we talked about interesting aspects from how was born the community to how Berlin’s Disco Party Scene is growing in town.
